Testing Materials for Wristband

In order to create the most effective wearable-technology, our team needed to find the optimal material for the wristband which would mount this tech. This material needed to be flexible, biodegradable, durable, and easy to manufacture in Uganda. Pia and Harper tested out a recipe for a substance known as "bioplastic." While they were successful in creating this material, it was clear from the outcome that it was not a viable material for the wristband—it wasn't flexible. Still, the trial was valuable in illuminating the kinds of considerations that must be taking into account when coming up with a material for the wristband.
